Bulahdelah (pop. 1,093) is a lovely small town beautifully situated as the jumping- off point for the nearby Myall Lakes National Park and is known for its houseboat industry. Preliminary work has begun on a major bypass to re-route modern Highway One to the east of town.
The 1886 Bulahdelah Courthouse is now the museum for the Bulahdelah Historical Society. The Plough Inn Hotel is a substantial and classic-styled old Aussie pub. Old garages and other “recycled” buildings abound here.

What a beauty is this classic old garage in the main street of Bulahdelah :) |
